Greetings - Strengthening Authority Through Silence

Originally Published on August 14, 2024

Hi, Taehyung-ah 🤗🤗🤗 How are you? I hope that things are going well for you. I’ve been quite occupied by interesting things this week. I wonder what keeps you busy this week, too. I’m reminded of the basis of freedom that fueled international laws. For us, Christians, that freedom is from the cross, and over several centuries, that has been the theme in Western nations. Israel is really close to my heart, and I know that’s the same for many devout Christians, Roman Catholic or not. I don’t want to dwell in anything violent, though, so I often distance myself from their war. The world has forgotten what terror it has done to Israel, that there was so much violence that the Israelites almost vanished from the face of the earth (aka depopulated) and those people were just making fun of it - and they’re doing it again. Retaliation is really the culture of that area. The Muslims even have a term - a mandate - for it. So, when you see and experience violence, call it out, Taehyung-ah. Don’t let the harassment, scheming, sabotage, torture, and any kind of abuse of human rights grow by being silent about it. Here’s the first quote I picked up today: “Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence.” - Leonardo da Vinci. Such terrifying things are difficult to fight, right? But you can fight through simple ways every day, first by changing your mindset - not allowing yourself to be a victim - of it. Empower yourself against it every day. The policemen and other law enforcers in our country aren’t trusted to protect human rights because oftentimes, they are the ones who are making headlines by abusing it. It hasn’t been like that in your country, and I want to believe that your men there are getting the right training: to do what is right, and to be strong enough to protect it. You’re able to handle the harsh training because you’re doing what is good. As I’m writing this, those hackers-stalkers have been banging things and showing their aggression, and it isn’t a wonder knowing that those who were living in the houses next to me are police officers. We already know how the government practiced spying and stalking before, so I won’t be surprised if all these places are bugged. Who knows what will happen in the next few years? All I know is that all these aggressive, violent criminals and hackers-stalkers will be caught by their own trap. I hope you’re doing well, eating, sleeping, and staying positive, so that you can properly see when the time of “rewarding the good and punishing the bad” comes. Keep the positive momentum, Taehyung-ah. “The time is always right to do what is right.” - Martin Luther King Jr. I love you so much, Taehyung-ah. I, and so many of your fans and ARMYs, love you so much. May you never stop believing in that. May you always be assured of our love and support for you and know that when it comes to us, you don’t have to do anything unlike you. May you always find the best in you, or the best way to express your ingenuity in every situation, and be happy and proud. There will always be so many among us who can see how amazing you are each time. I hope you’ll cut the things, people, and situations that make you sad and obscured. Don’t be sorry for being yourself. Always remember you are always loved. Borahae, Saranghae, Taehyung-ah. 💖💖💖🤍🤍🤍💜💜💜
