Hi, Taehyung-ah 🤗🤗🤗 How are you? I hope that things are going well for you. Happy first anniversary to your Layover debut album, Taehyung-ah 🥳🎉👏🙌 I remember when your Love Me Again MV was dropped and how it got all of us starstruck. It was surely amazing. I definitely love the song and the music video, and how handsome you look in it. I got a lot of questions about the album, though, but maybe it’s just better to treat them as music and arts. They’re so aesthetically made, too, sophisticated, elegant, meaningful, and excellent, just like all of your projects before, be it in music, fashion, or others (best-selling magazine covers and merch). This quote I picked up today just captures your works perfectly: “Quality is not an act, it is a habit.” - Aristotle. Thank you so much for giving us such great songs and album, Taehyung-ah. It went on to break two-decades-long records on Hanteo and Gaon and won several awards in Mnet, MCountdown, and other Korean music shows, and set records in both local and international charts, be it through physical albums or on streaming platforms. All of it was organic. Also, they were achieved despite all the sabotage and scheming done by your label, and their lack of marketing, which was in stark contrast to other artists of the company. The fans are thinking that you might be able to earn more with less money spent on marketing and inflating sales (yours were even deleted - by millions, too. I mean, there should be a limit to the scheming, right? They went too far just to drag you down). Unfortunately, as far as I know, all those things - like marketing and promotion - are already, supposedly, included in the deal, and they chose not to do them despite being paid right (like those hackers-stalkers before). All I can say is that, at least, you have already made so much impact and momentum just by yourself, and we’re all still yet to see the fullness of what you’re capable of if none of those sabotages and scheming are happening. Do it again and again, Taehyung-ah. Your audience is growing. You are conquering. Thank you so much for giving us high-quality, excellent songs and videos. They’re really the kinds that are so good to watch and listen to over and over again. Just so beautiful and meaningful. I wonder if you’re getting some nice inspirations while you’re in your mandatory military service, but we’re excited to wait for your comeback. Keep being healthy. Don’t get hurt. Be safe. Know why things are happening just as they do, and learn how you can move beyond them and stand out. Don’t be defined by others - especially if they’re just gossipers and schemers (like those hackers-stalkers) - but rather, look for like-minded people whose positive values match with you, who can see and admire yours and vice versa, and with whom you can work together to create progress. Also, remember that we’re always here cheering for you, supporting you, and fighting for you. I wish you can call out evildoers at once so they won’t keep on bothering you, but even as I’ve been doing it here, exploitative people just keep latching on to me since they can earn a lot by doing so. So, protect yourself and your resources, Taehyung-ah. No matter how much progress you’ve earned, if there are thieves following after you, you might just be losing them to those wrong people. They don’t know what makes you excellent and impactful, they just want to steal the position and the resources. I hope you associate with equally powerful and impactful people so that it won’t be a matter of exploitation nor of charity, but rather of exchange and alliance (where no one is destroyed in the process). I now think gossiping is a fake and shallow imitation of that alliance and community, only that those involved destroy each other or stab each other’s back. Ah, here’s the quote I picked up for that. “Who brings a tale takes two away.” - Irish Proverb. Keep engaging with the right and trustworthy people, and stop being a stepping stone for those who don’t care what will happen to you. Of course, all of it is your choice. Just don’t get hurt. I love you so much, Taehyung-ah. I, and so many of your fans and ARMYs, love you so much. May you never stop believing in that. May you always be assured of our love and support for you and know that when it comes to us, you don’t have to do anything unlike you. May you always find the best in you, or the best way to express your ingenuity in every situation, and be happy and proud. There will always be so many among us who can see how amazing you are each time. I hope you’ll cut the things, people, and situations that make you sad and obscured.
